Since , The War of Art has inspired people around the world to defeat "resistance"; to recognize and knock down dream-blocking barriers and to silence the naysayers within us. Resistance kicks everyone's butt, and the desire to defeat it is equally as universal. The War of Art identifies the enemy that every one of us must face, outlines a battle plan to conquer this internal foe, then pinpoints just how to achieve the greatest success.

The Art of War Audiobook | Sun Tzu |

Even though I have read this book more than times I always walk away from it with a fresh perespective and something new. You can look at this as a military guide if you want to, but I see it as a way of life. Hints, tips, and tricks for maintaining balance in a rocky world. There is a reason this book has lasted so long; it is as relevent today as it was centuries ago. There are numerous life lessons that you should adhere to steadfastly.

I got this version for one reason, the narration of Roberto Scarlato. The man is on my go to list for audiobooks, and even in the written word the man is an incredible writer, too , so when I saw that he had narrated a cherished book, I had to get this. He does not disappoint in the slightest way. The man is on point, and I swear he channels Tzu's spirit as he commandingly tells you of each strategy.

He is easy to listen to, having a pleasant voice, and speaks in clear somber tones so that there is never a question of what he has said or Sun Tzu intended. His resonance and resounding voice couples well with the wisdom of this book.

You couldn't ask for a better narrator. Such is why it continues to be used so many years after it was wrote. Strategy and tactics infused with wisdom. Quick entertaining listen and insight into ancient battle strategy. Good narration. Give it a go! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Here are some helpful strategies about conflict, if conflicts there must be. Whatever personal battles you are encountering within your life, use these Sun Tzu quotes as a strategy to overcome. A thousand battles, a thousand victories. The general who wins the battle makes many calculations in his temple before the battle is fought.

What is Kobo Super Points?

The general who loses makes but few calculations beforehand. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat. Attack like the Fire and be still as the Mountain. And they will follow you into the deepest valley. When full, starve them. When settled, make them move. If of high morale, depress them. Seem humble to fill them with conceit.

If at ease, exhaust them.
